Train services to Gatwick Airport and Brighton are back up and running after sinkholes caused major disruption on Sunday, Network Rail has confirmed.

Rail passengers across Sussex are being warned to expect disruption on Monday morning, after planned weekend engineering work overran.

Network Rail has warned of a worrying rise in trespassing on train lines across Sussex and Kent, with as many as 12 incidents a day being reported.
