Eight Fire Engines Respond To Recycling Depot Blaze Near Crawley

Fire fighters have successfully extinguished a fire at a recycling depot near Crawley - which saw eight fire engines mobilised to the scene in Turners Hill yesterday (Tuesday).


Crews were called to the depot in East Street at 8.56pm yesterday evening, with two water carriers also sent.


Firefighters used breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to control the fire.


It's not thought anyone was injured.
