Police Appeal After 89-Year-Old Seriously Injured In Brighton Hit-And-Run

Police are appealing for information after an 89-year-old man was seriously injured in a hit-and-run collision in Brighton.
Sussex Police said the man was struck by a car on London Road, just south of the Carden Avenue mini roundabout, between 4.15pm and 4.45pm on 23 January.
Officers say the vehicle failed to stop at the scene.
The victim suffered what have been described as “significant” injuries and remains in hospital.
Police are working to trace the vehicle involved and establish the full circumstances of the incident.
