Two men have been acquitted of rape following a trial at Hove Crown Court linked to an incident near Brighton seafront.

Over several months, the victim provided more than £11,000, but Cosham ghosted her again and never repaid the funds.

A 48-year-old man from Bexhill has been convicted of the murder of 58-year-old Rita Lambourne, following a trial at Hove Crown Court.

Both victims, who have a legal right to anonymity and who must not be identified, have received support from specially-trained officers and partner agencies.
