Major plans to redevelop Bognor Regis Arcade are set to go before Arun District Council next week.
Councillors will decide on Wednesday 15 October whether to approve proposals for 35 new flats above the High Street arcade, along with a partial demolition and refurbishment of the existing building.
The £8 million project, submitted by the council last June, aims to create 11 affordable homes as part of the development, alongside new retail units and a fresh entrance to the arcade from Belmont Street.
Funding for the scheme was agreed by the council in July 2023.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the planning committee meeting at the Arun Civic Centre in Littlehampton from 2pm on Wednesday.
The meeting will also be live-streamed online at: https://democracy.arun.gov.uk/ieListDocuments.aspx?CId=137&MId=1986.
