Appeal After Public Order Incident In Worthing Town Centre

Police are appealing for witnesses following a public order incident in South Street, Worthing.
Officers were called at around 7.10pm on Wednesday 8 April to reports of three people causing a disturbance.
It is alleged the group threw gravel and vape liquid, while also verbally abusing members of the public from the roof of a building.
Police attended and three people were arrested.
A 22-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of intentionally or recklessly causing a public nuisance, using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, and common assault. She has since been given a community resolution.
An 18-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of causing a public nuisance and breaching a community protection order.
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of using threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour.
Both have been released on bail while enquiries continue.
Officers say the investigation is ongoing and are following several lines of enquiry.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have relevant CCTV or mobile footage, is urged to come forward.
