Arrest Made After Teen 'Grabbed' In Lewes

A man has been arrested after a teenage girl was reportedly grabbed while walking home from school in Lewes.
Sussex Police said the incident happened at around 2.05pm on May 1 on steps leading to Dorset Road.
The girl reported that a man unknown to her approached and grabbed her wrist before letting go. She was not injured and was able to continue on her way.
A 43-year-old man from Lewes has since been arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on bail while enquiries continue.
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with CCTV, dashcam or mobile footage from the area at the time to come forward.
