A 35-year-old man from Eastbourne has pleaded not guilty to terrorism offences and has been sent for trial at the Old Bailey.
Mohammed Alzawi, of Bedford Grove, is accused of three counts of encouraging people to commit, prepare or instigate acts of terrorism.
He has been remanded in custody and is next due to appear on 27 March.
His appearance at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday follows the arrest last Friday of a man on suspicion of supporting the Islamic State group.
