Hove Man Charged After Cannabis Plants Seized In Police Raid

A man has been charged and remanded in custody after police discovered cannabis plants during a raid in Hove.


Officers executed a warrant at a property in Wish Road on Wednesday morning (13 August), seizing plants and equipment. A man found inside was arrested at the scene.


Hung Nguyen, 39, of Wish Road, was later charged with producing and supplying a Class B drug, abstracting electricity without authority, and obstructing a police officer.


He appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Friday (15 August) and was remanded in custody.


Police say enquiries are ongoing and are urging anyone with information to contact them online or by calling 101, quoting reference 291 of 13/08.
