Animal lovers in Sussex are being urged to come forward to rehome ex-commercial hens at an upcoming event in Worthing.

The British Hen Welfare Trust is looking to find homes for around 200 hens on Sunday 12 April, giving them a second chance after their commercial laying lives.

The charity says the birds, now around 18 months old, are still capable of laying eggs and can make friendly and rewarding pets.

Anyone interested must register by 14:00 on Friday 10 April. Adopters are asked to provide basic care, including shelter, food, water and attention.

Organisers say spring is an ideal time to take on hens, as they settle well into outdoor spaces and family life.

drive mad is the kind of game that hooks you instantly and refuses to let go. Its minimalist design hides deep challenges, where mastering momentum and control becomes an obsession that keeps players coming back for “just one more try.”
