Man Charged With Attempted Murder After Pedestrian Seriously Injured Outside Hastings Station

A 48-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following a serious incident in which a pedestrian was struck by a car outside Hastings railway station.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Wednesday afternoon after the 47-year-old victim was hit by a vehicle.
The man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he remains in a critical condition.
British Transport Police has confirmed that Lee McGreevy, 48, of Priory Road, Hastings, has been charged with attempted murder.
He is due to appear before Brighton Magistrates' Court today (Friday).
