New Seafront Premier Inn Opens In Bognor Regis

A new 116-room Premier Inn overlooking Bognor Regis seafront has officially opened its doors, with community leaders and local representatives attending a launch event on Friday.

The hotel, located on The Esplanade opposite the beach, features standard and Premier Plus rooms, with many offering sea views.

It also includes an all-day dining restaurant called The Social, complete with a covered terrace — one of only two of its kind at a Premier Inn in the UK.

The opening marks the latest investment in the South Coast by Whitbread, the owner of Premier Inn, which says it sees strong opportunities in the region’s leisure and business travel market.

Around 30 jobs have been created at the new hotel, with many roles filled through local recruitment efforts.

Hotel Manager Sarah Holland said the team was excited to become part of the Bognor Regis community and looked forward to welcoming guests and local residents.

The opening was attended by local dignitaries including Bognor Regis and Littlehampton MP Alison Griffiths, who said the development would support jobs, attract visitors and boost the local economy.

Whitbread acquired the site in 2022, with construction completed as part of a wider expansion programme across the South Coast.
