Police Investigating Stabbing On Worthing Seafront

Police are seeking witnesses to a stabbing on Worthing seafront.
At around 1.17pm on Wednesday 1 October, police received a report of three teenagers – one in possession of a knife – chasing another teenager along Marine Parade, close to the junction with West Street.
An 18-year-old man was tended to by members of the public, before being taken to hospital with a hand injury.
The three suspects, described as white and wearing black hoodies, ran off in a westerly direction along Marine Parade.
Officers responded to the scene, and the public can expect to see a heightened police presence in the area this evening as our enquiries continue.
Neil Walker, of Worthing CID, said:
“We’re in the very early stages of our investigation and are urging anyone with any information to please come forward.
