Police Renew Appeal After E-Scooter Collision In Worthing

Police have released footage as they renew an appeal for information following a collision involving an e-scooter and a pedestrian in Worthing.

The incident happened at around 10pm on Tuesday 15 July in Chapel Road, in the town centre.

A 74-year-old woman was injured after being struck by the e-scooter.

The rider did not stop at the scene and travelled towards the seafront.

Police are now trying to identify the two men who were travelling on the e-scooter and have released footage in the hope that someone recognises them.

Both men are believed to be in their 20s.

The rider was wearing a black T-shirt with white writing, dark trousers and shoes.

The passenger was wearing a black hooded top and trousers, along with flip-flops or sandals.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage is asked to contact Sussex Police online or call 101.
