Renewed Appeal To Find E-Scooter Rider After Serious Worthing Collision
Police are renewing an appeal for information after a serious collision in Worthing.
The collision involving an e-scooter rider and a pedestrian happened at about 10pm on July 15 in Chapel Road in the town centre.
The pedestrian, a 74-year-old woman, sustained injuries. The rider of the e-scooter did not remain at the scene and travelled in the direction of the seafront.
Police are continuing to appeal to identify the e-scooter rider and pillion passenger, and have released footage of the incident in the hope that someone recognises them.
Both men riding the e-scooter were described as being in their 20s. The rider wore a black T-shirt with white writing, dark trousers and shoes, while the pillion passenger wore a black hooded top, trousers, and flip flop or sandals.
