Several Sussex pubs are celebrating after being shortlisted in the National Pub and Bar Awards 2026.
In East Sussex, The Argyle Arms, The Joker Brighton and The Prestonville Arms have been recognised.
Meanwhile in West Sussex, The Crown at Turners Hill, The George at Burpham and The Welldiggers Arms have also made the shortlist.
In total, more than 250 pubs and bars from across the UK are being recognised this year, with all shortlisted venues invited to attend the Grand Final in London this June.
The annual awards – now marking their 10th anniversary – celebrate excellence across the pub and bar sector, judging venues on factors including service, style, marketing, digital presence and overall customer experience.
Winners at county, regional and national level will be revealed during the ceremony on 10 June, alongside several industry and consumer-voted awards.
Organisers say the extended awards format continues to shine a spotlight on some of the best venues across the UK, with Sussex well represented in this year’s shortlist.
