Sussex Seaside Town Named Among UK’s Most Underrated Destinations

Hastings has been named one of the UK’s top underrated places to visit, according to travel site KAYAK.
The town ranked in the top 10 of destinations that visitors “should put on their travel map more”, based on hotel searches and attractions.
KAYAK praised modern-day Hastings as a lively mix of independent galleries, arcades, musicians and markets, set against a backdrop of traditional seaside character.
Known for its seafood, three-mile seafront and historic Old Town, Hastings also boasts attractions such as cliff railways, museums and panoramic hilltop views.
The town has previously been highlighted by travel guides as a seaside spot that “deserves more attention”.
