Two More Men Jailed Over West Sussex Drugs Network

Two more men have been jailed for their roles in a drugs supply operation dealing cocaine and cannabis across West Sussex.

Frankie Rackham, 31, of Corbishley Road, Bognor, and Wayne Lowman, 56, of Heath Close, Hunston, acted as "runners" for Behrad Mohammadi as part of the network uncovered during Operation Tripod.

The pair appeared at Portsmouth Crown Court on 23 July after admitting conspiracy to supply cocaine and cannabis. Lowman also admitted being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug. Both were sentenced to 2 years and 8 months in prison.

Police executed warrants in October last year, discovering cannabis plants worth up to £10,000 at Lowman's home. Rackham later handed himself in, with evidence linking him to the group.

Mohammadi and Kyle O'Brien were jailed earlier this year after officers seized more than a kilogram of cocaine, a kilogram of cannabis and thousands of nitrous oxide cylinders during the investigation.

Detective Superintendent Colin Garman said the four prison sentences demonstrate Sussex Police's determination to dismantle organised crime groups and tackle the harm caused by illegal drugs.
