Body Found On Rottingdean Beach

Police are investigating after the body of a man was discovered on a beach in Rottingdean.

Officers were called to the seafront on Friday morning following reports that a man's body had been found on the beach.

A cordon remains in place while enquiries continue.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: "Police were called to the beach at Rottingdean on Friday morning, May 29, after a report of a body of a man found on the beach.

"He has not yet been formally identified and enquiries are being made to establish the full circumstances."

No further details about the man have been released at this stage.

Police remain at the scene while investigations continue.
