Elderly Woman Seriously Injured In Plaistow Collision

A 74-year-old woman has been seriously injured after being struck by a car in West Sussex.
The incident happened in Loxwood Road, Plaistow, just after midday on Saturday and involved a green convertible BMW Z.
Emergency services attended and the pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and are appealing for witnesses, as well as anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward.
Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw the vehicle being driven prior to the incident.
