Emergency Services Called To Roof Collapse At Hastings Property

Emergency services were called on Saturday evening following a roof collapse at a property in Hastings, East Sussex.


East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service attended Ashburnham Road at around 7:30pm after the incident was reported.


A fire service spokesperson said two fire engines, an aerial ladder platform and two specialist appliances were deployed to the scene.


Crews confirmed that all occupants of the property had safely evacuated before emergency services arrived.


There were no reports of injuries or fatalities.


Firefighters worked to make the building safe before leaving the scene at around 9:55pm.
