Family Pay Tribute To 'Beautiful And Generous' Amber, 20, Killed In A27 Collision

The family of a 20-year-old woman who died following a collision on the A27 near Arundel have described her as a "beautiful girl" whose kindness and compassion touched everyone she met.

Amber Street, a hairdresser from Pagham, died after the collision on Wednesday, 15 July.

In a heartfelt tribute, her family said Amber's love for those around her defined her life.

They said:

"Amber was our 'family girl'. Born at St Richard's Hospital in Chichester in 2006, she loved her family more than anything.

"She even had the word 'family' tattooed alongside other tributes to those closest to her.

"From a young age, Amber's generosity and love for others shone through, only growing stronger as she entered adulthood.

"At times, silly and playful, her infectious joyfulness is fondly remembered by her family and friends."

Amber trained as a hairdresser in Chichester before building a career in the profession she loved.

Her family said she was hardworking, talented and always put others before herself.

They added:

"She was a beautiful girl with a wonderfully generous nature. She loved her family more than anything and was always thinking of others.

"She had a sense of care and compassion for others that was unmatched.

"Her loss is hard to bear but whilst tragic and incomprehensible, in her all-too-short life Amber impacted us all in profound ways, the legacy of which we will carry with us forever.

"We are forever changed by having known her and we feel blessed to have been touched by someone with such a wondrous spirit.

"We want to honour the person Amber was by amplifying that spirit and living lives that pay tribute to it every day."

Amber is survived by her parents, Ben and Emily, her younger brother Harry, and her extended family, who say they are devastated by her loss.
