Katie Price To Give Evidence At Kieran Hayler Trial, Court Hears

Katie Price is expected to give evidence at the forthcoming trial of her former husband, Kieran Hayler, a court has heard.

Hayler, 39, appeared at Lewes Crown Court on Thursday, where proceedings were told his trial is due to begin in October.

He faces three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault relating to a girl aged 13 at the time of the alleged offences. Hayler denies all charges.

The offences are alleged to have taken place at an address in West Sussex between June and October 2016.

During the hearing, the court was told that Price, who was married to Hayler at the time the alleged offences are said to have occurred, is expected to be called as a witness during the trial.

The girl involved cannot be identified for legal reasons.

Police have said she has been supported by specially trained officers throughout the investigation.

It has also been stated that the complainant is not a member of either Hayler or Price’s extended families.

Hayler has been granted bail ahead of the trial.
