Motorist Assaulted On A24 Near Buck Barn Crossroads

Police are appealing for witnesses to an altercation between two drivers at the Buck Barn crossroads on the A24 on Tuesday morning, 12 May.
The driver of a silver Vauxhall Meriva suffered fractures to his wrist and shoulder after reportedly being hit by a BMW and assaulted by the driver when he went to remonstrate with him. The incident happened around 11am to 11.20am.
The victim, a 31-year-old man, reported being undertaken a couple of times on the A24 near Dial Post and near the Buck Barn crossroads, with the black BMW then manoeuvring and braking in front of his car each time.
There was an altercation at the Buck Barn crossroads with the Vauxhall driver, concerned that his baby was in the car.
He went to talk to the other driver on the grass verge and reported being hit by the BMW and assaulted by the driver.
