Police Appeal After Man Struck By E-Bike Rider In Littlehampton

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously assaulted in Littlehampton.

The incident happened near the Clock Tower at around 11.40pm on 7 June, when a 36-year-old man was reportedly struck by a rider on an e-bike in what police have described as an unprovoked attack.

The victim received assistance from staff at The George Inn before later attending hospital for treatment.

As part of ongoing enquiries, Sussex Police have released CCTV images of two young men they would like to identify and speak with.

Both were wearing dark clothing, although one was seen wearing a grey hat while the other appeared to be wearing headwear resembling a dark face covering or balaclava.

Officers believe the pair left the area on a blue e-bike, travelling along Surrey Street.

Anyone who recognises the individuals, or who has CCTV, dashcam, doorbell or mobile phone footage from the area around the time of the incident, is urged to contact Sussex Police.
