Police Investigate Suspected Acid Attack At Crawley Station

Police are investigating after a man was injured in a suspected acid attack at Crawley railway station.

Officers from British Transport Police were called to the station shortly after 23:20 GMT on Saturday.

A man in his 30s was taken to hospital after a corrosive substance was thrown at him. Police say he has since been discharged.

British Transport Police say enquiries are ongoing and officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has information, to come forward.
