Two Arrested After Drugs Raid In Eastbourne

Two men have been arrested and suspected drugs seized after police carried out warrants at three properties in Eastbourne.

Officers from Eastbourne's Neighbourhood Policing Team executed the warrants in Croxden Way on 1 June as part of an investigation into the supply of controlled drugs.

At one address, police recovered multiple mobile phones, a large quantity of suspected steroids, prescription medication and drug-related paraphernalia.

A 31-year-old man and a 48-year-old man, both from Eastbourne, were arrested on suspicion of a number of drug supply offences.

They have since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

At two other properties, officers seized suspected Class A and Class B drugs, along with several mobile phones. No arrests were made at those locations.

Chief Inspector Kara Tombling said intelligence from local residents had helped officers take action against those suspected of supplying illegal drugs and remove suspected drugs from the streets.
