Brighton & Hove City Council has confirmed it will be unable to maintain all areas of the seafront this summer, despite securing new funding.

The funding was needed for a variety of reasons, including ageing populations, emergency accommodation and tackling homelessness.

The investment, part of a national programme, will support some of the regions facing the greatest barriers to physical activity.
