Hastings Water Main Repair Update: Supplies Being Restored

The leader of Hastings Borough Council says repairs to the burst water main have now been completed, with work underway to restore full water supplies.

Councillor Glenn Haffenden says the council has been kept updated by Southern Water and welcomed the news that the damaged pipe has been fixed and is now being recharged.

Water deliveries to residents on the Priority Services Register will continue throughout the day, and anyone in urgent need of water is being urged to contact Southern Water directly.

Residents are also being asked not to stockpile tap water or use more than necessary, to help maintain supplies while the system is brought back to normal.
