Man Arrested After Suspected Stabbing In Eastbourne

A man has been arrested and another remains in hospital with serious injuries following a suspected stabbing in Eastbourne.

Sussex Police were called to a flat on Victoria Drive on Thursday evening at around 7pm following reports of an assault.

One man was taken to hospital with injuries believed to be caused by a stabbing.

A 48-year-old man from Eastbourne was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

He has since been released on bail while police continue their investigation.
