Person Seriously Injured After Living Room Fire In Worthing

A person has been taken to hospital in a serious condition following a house fire in West Sussex.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a small fire in a living room on Ashford Road in Worthing at around 6:45pm on Sunday.

One person was treated at the scene before being taken to Worthing Hospital for further care, according to the South East Coast Ambulance Service.

Paramedics confirmed the patient was in a serious condition when they were taken to hospital.
