Woman Arrested After Man Stabbed In Brighton

A woman has been arrested after a man was stabbed in Brighton.

Police were called to reports of an assault in George Street at around 10:30am on Saturday.

A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A 36-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

Sussex Police say enquiries are ongoing and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
