Woman Seriously Injured In A22 Head-On Crash

A 32-year-old woman is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a collision on the A22 near East Grinstead.

The crash happened at around 5.20am on Tuesday and involved a black Volkswagen Polo and an articulated lorry.

Police have described the collision as head-on and are now working to establish what happened.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash, or who may have captured relevant dashcam footage, to contact Sussex Police.
