Worthing Couple Given Criminal Behaviour Orders For Shoplifting

Jessica Tutton, 33, and Grant Tutton, 41, of Chippers Close, Tarring, Worthing, have been given Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBOs) for prolific shoplifting.
The pair repeatedly stole from stores in Worthing.
Committing their offenses together, they would enter a shop and target products in different parts of the store before leaving.
Over £700 worth of beer, meat, chocolate and other products were stolen throughout their spree which began on 19 August 2024 and ended with their arrest on 15 February 2025.
Police were called to a report of shoplifting on 15 February 2025 at a shop in Rectory Road.
The couple were arrested at the scene on suspicion of 14 counts of theft from a shop and conditionally bailed while investigations were ongoing.
On 15 April 2025, they both appeared at Worthing Magistrates’ Court where they were both charged with 14 counts of theft from a shop and bailed pending a further court appearance.
The pair appeared at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on 15 December and pleaded guilty to all offences.
Grant and Jessica Tutton were each given a one-year CBO banning them from entering Tesco in Rectory Road, Tarring, Worthing.
