A long-awaited helipad at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton has welcomed its first helicopter – seven years after it was originally due to open.

A new cancer centre is set to be built in Sussex, following an announcement by the government.

The family of the man who sadly died at the Royal Sussex County Hospital the same day said that Mathew “lived a life filled with laughter, love and adventure”.
