Water has been restored at Gatwick Airport after a major outage caused toilet closures, long queues and disruption for passengers on Sunday.

Plans for more than 1,000 new homes in an area affected by recent water supply problems have raised concerns from a parish councillor.

Around 15,000 vulnerable customers in Hastings and surrounding areas have already received bottled water as a precaution.
