Elderly Woman Seriously Injured In Plaistow Crash As Police Launch Appeal

Police are appealing for information after an elderly woman was seriously injured in a collision in Plaistow.

Emergency services were called to Loxwood Road just after midday on 2 May, where a 74-year-old local woman had been struck by a car.

She was taken to hospital for treatment.

The incident involved a green convertible BMW Z, and officers are now working to establish the full circumstances.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or saw the vehicle being driven beforehand, is urged to come forward.

Police are also asking drivers with dashcam footage, or anyone with relevant CCTV, to get in touch quoting reference 666 of 02/05.
