Four Teenagers Arrested After Robbery In Bognor Regis

Four teenagers have been arrested following a reported robbery in Bognor Regis.

Police were called to Aldwick Street at around 8pm on Wednesday, July 22, after reports of a fight taking place.

Officers attended and were told a man and a woman had been assaulted by a group of around five young people, who also took the man's phone.

The group was later located nearby on the beach, and officers arrested four people following a foot pursuit.

Two boys, aged 14 and 16, and a 15-year-old girl were arrested on suspicion of robbery.

A further 14-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of robbery and racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment, alarm or distress through words or writing.

All four teenagers have since been released on bail while enquiries continue.

Police say they are following a number of lines of investigation and are asking anyone with information that could help to come forward.
