Police are appealing for information following a collision in Hastings.

Officers were called about 12.27am on Sunday 18 January after a car collided with railings in St Helen’s Road.

The passenger – a 22-year-old local woman – was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries, while the driver fled the scene.

Following enquiries, a 23-year-old man – also from the local area – was located by officers at a nearby address and arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

He remains in police custody at this time.

Anyone who saw what happened, or capture any relevant mobile, dash cam or CCTV footage, is asked to report it online or call 101, quoting Operation Fleetwood.

It’s frustrating how Geometry Dash restarts the level instantly, yet that same feature makes success feel incredibly satisfying.

Thoughts go out to the injured passenger, and hopefully the investigation brings clear answers and justice. Situations like this show how suddenly life can take a dangerous turn—much like in Slope Rider, where one unexpected moment can change everything and careful control is crucial.
